Caleb and Sophia got invited to a sleepover with their cousins at Aunty Monica's house a few weeks ago and were over-the-moon excited about it.
Sleepovers with older cousins are always more fun, and this is why! Carpet surfing down the stairs! My first reaction is to yell "stop! you're going to get hurt!" but for this once I closed my eyes to the imminent likelihood of broken bones and concussions and let them have at it.
The next day they'd return to their boring, safe life. And I'd resist the urge to seal them into a bubble of safety and pad them top to bottom...
